correction, the EW output stage

should be configured as illustrated in figure 8.

Resistor Rew determines the gain of the EW output stage. Resistor Rc sets the reference current for both the vertical

sawtooth generator and the geometry processor. The preferred value of Rc = 39 kΩ results in a reference current of 100

µA (Vref = 3.9 V).

The value of Rew is given in the following equation: Rew = Rc × --(--1---8---V--×--s--c-V--a--r-n-e---f---)---

Example: If Vref = 3.9 kΩ, Rc = 39 kΩ and Vscan = 120 V then Rew = 68 kΩ
